Entelo constantly crawls the internet to build out candidate profiles that are easily searchable and you can see a candidate’s full online presence in one place. So much so that we got rid of LinkedIn Recruiter (crazy, right?). I’ve tried a number of data aggregate sourcing tools but this one proves to be the best (in my opinion). Both apps access only a single, generic search engine: Yahoo for AutoSearch Mobile, Google for Search on the Go.Entelo – I’m such an advocate for this sourcing tool. It’s interface isn’t quite as simple, but it does save and display search strings, a feature that AutoSearch Mobile lacks. But the only direct competition for AutoSearch Mobile I’ve found is Search On the Go, which is $9.99 in the iPhone store. Most of the leading job boards have iPhone applications to help job seekers search listings. However, mobile search utilities are still relatively rare. There’s eGrabber and TalentDrive among others. She turned to her husband who owned a software development company and AutoSearch was born. “Pretty soon I found myself spending more time writing complex Internet search strings than I was calling candidates,” Fenstermaker admits in a post on the AutoSearch website.
